Common questions
Every clinical plan begins with the services, people and practice arrangements involved.
Talk through your questions →No. A contract cannot legalize lay ownership or control of medical care. Review the entity, actual decision-making authority and applicable statutory exceptions with California healthcare counsel. This does not mean every employed physician must personally own the practice.
We review license, scope, training and the clinical setting. RNs and NPs are not interchangeable: qualifying NPs have specific AB 890 pathways with their own requirements. Do not assume one supervision model applies to every nurse or NP.
Yes. Good-faith exams are part of coordinated care within an established participating-practice relationship, connected to clinical oversight and documentation in our proprietary EMR. We do not offer standalone exams to outside organizations. Remote arrangements depend on clinical needs and provider qualifications.
The Medical Board warns about supervision that exists only on paper. Where supervision is required, document how it actually works, including availability, clinical review and response to complications. A signed agreement is not evidence that these duties are being performed.
Yes. The Medical Board identifies license discipline and possible criminal prosecution for unlicensed practice and aiding it. Its CPOM guidance also identifies BPC 2417.5 for noncompliant businesses offering elective cosmetic medical procedures. Consequences depend on the conduct, applicable law and enforcement process; they are not automatic.
The scope depends on your providers, treatments and documentation needs. Use the consultation form to request a discussion of services and pricing.
Yes. A consultation can address a change in medical direction, a new location or service, or a review of your current supervision plan.
